Gochu IPTV

▶ Gochu IPTV is the fastest, most expansive, and well-organized IPTV service among those tested.

▶ Unlike other IPTV services, Gochu IPTV offers high-bitrate, “ultra-low-latency direct feeds” with the ability to quickly “zap” through channels. Allegedly, the network is not oversold.

▶ With over 18,000+ channels provided, a user may benefit from favoriting specific channels.

▶ A large live sports package is incuded with HD (720p), FHD (1080p), and UHD (4K) broadcasts from around the world, allowing the viewing of NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA, NASCAR, NHL, F1, UFC, MMA, PGA, soccer, rugby, cricket, tennis games and more.

▶ Testing showed that pay-per-view in UHD (4K) resolution is provided in some instances — relatively rare among IPTV providers.

▶ Nearly all channels are provided in HD (720p) or FHD (1080p) resolution. Over 50 are provided in UHD (4K) resolution. Many stream in a 50 or 60 FPS framerate. Many provide 5.1 surround sound.

▶ Extensive local channels are provided for the United States. Local and regional channels are provided for many other countries including Canada, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and beyond.

▶ Over 200 adult channels are provided

▶ Testing on Android was performed using Implayer , Sparkle TV, and Tivimate

▶ Testing on Apple was performed using one of the highest-rated IPTV apps for iPad and Apple TV, UHF

IPTV apps are available for a wide range of devices, including Fire TV Stick and Chromecast.

In the United States, the average cable service is ~$93/month for ~125 channels (and few, if any of those channels are premium). The figures above represent a significant reduction in TV cost whilst providing much more content.

Streaming consumes significant data. Those who rely on streaming may benefit from an unlimited data plan. Some ISPs impose a monthly data limit called a “data cap.” You can check with your ISP to see if you have unlimited data. If your data is limited, you can likely upgrade your internet plan. In my area, for example, Comcast/Xfinity offers a service upgrade to unlimited data for +$30/mo. And if you are cutting away all your conventional TV/streaming service, there remains an upside. Overall, the concept of “alternative streaming” is to “get more” while saving a large amount every month as compared to conventional services.

A minimum download speed of 30 Mbps to 50 Mbps is necessary for 4K (UHD) content. In comparison, 10 Mbps is the minimum speed for 1080p (FHD) content.
